PSA National Community
Connecting Students Nationwide

Building a unified network of Pakistani students across universities in the United States.

PSA National (Pakistan Student Association National) is a student-led organization created to connect Pakistan Student Associations and Pakistani-descendant students across colleges and universities throughout the United States.

While hundreds of universities have their own PSAs, there has never been a unified national platform that brings these organizations together. PSA National was founded to create that network and help students collaborate, support one another, and build lasting connections across campuses.

PSA National was created because Pakistani students across America often face similar challenges and opportunities, but there has historically been little coordination between campuses.

The organization seeks to unite students through:

  • Professional development
  • Leadership opportunities
  • Networking
  • Cultural engagement
  • Mentorship
  • Community service
  • Career advancement
  • National collaboration

Our mission is to empower Pakistani students and strengthen the Pakistani-American student community on a national scale.

Our vision is to build the largest and most impactful network of Pakistani students in the United States.

We hope to create a nationwide community where students can:

  • Learn from one another
  • Share opportunities
  • Build friendships
  • Develop professionally
  • Preserve and celebrate Pakistani culture
  • Create positive change within their communities

In the future, PSA National aims to host national conferences, leadership summits, networking events, professional panels, cultural initiatives, community service projects, and mentorship programs connecting students with successful professionals across various industries.

Members would gain access to:

  • A nationwide network of Pakistani students
  • Leadership development opportunities
  • Professional mentorship
  • Career guidance
  • Internship and job opportunities
  • Networking with professionals and community leaders
  • National events and conferences
  • Cross-campus collaboration opportunities
  • Cultural programming and initiatives
  • Community service projects
  • Access to resources and best practices from PSAs across the country

Students will have opportunities to build relationships with peers, professionals, entrepreneurs, public servants, and community leaders from across America.

Campus organizations would gain:

  • Connections to PSAs across the country
  • Opportunities to collaborate on larger initiatives
  • Shared resources and event ideas
  • Greater visibility for their campus activities
  • Access to speakers and professional networks
  • Support for leadership development
  • Opportunities for members to engage beyond their own university

Each PSA benefits from becoming part of a larger national community while maintaining complete control over its own organization.

  • Participating in national initiatives
  • Attending meetings and events
  • Sharing opportunities and resources
  • Assisting with community service projects
  • Helping organize collaborative programs
  • Representing their campus PSA
  • Recruiting students interested in the mission
  • Providing ideas that strengthen the organization

The success of PSA National depends on active student involvement and collaboration.

  • Appointing representatives or liaisons
  • Participating in national discussions
  • Hosting collaborative events
  • Sharing resources and opportunities
  • Supporting national initiatives
  • Encouraging member involvement

Every campus brings unique perspectives and strengths that help make the network stronger.

No.

PSA National is not intended to replace, control, oversee, or interfere with any university’s PSA.

  • Its own leadership
  • Its own constitution
  • Its own membership
  • Its own finances
  • Its own events
  • Its own traditions

PSA National exists to support and connect organizations, not govern them.

Many universities have talented students, strong leadership, and great ideas, but their impact is often limited to a single campus.

By joining PSA National, students become part of something larger—a nationwide network dedicated to supporting Pakistani students and creating opportunities that no single organization could achieve alone.

  • Expand opportunities
  • Increase collaboration
  • Strengthen student leadership
  • Build lifelong connections
  • Elevate the voice of Pakistani students nationwide

PSA National was founded by Arsal Ijaz, a student at New York University, with the vision of creating a unified national network for Pakistani students and Pakistan Student Associations throughout the United States.

Prior to founding PSA National, Arsal served as Founder and President of APPAC Youth, where he worked to connect and empower young Pakistani-Americans through leadership, community engagement, and professional development initiatives.

Arsal Ijaz currently serves as the Founding President of PSA National.

Students, PSA leaders, and organizations interested in learning more about PSA National can reach out directly to the board.

Additional contact information and leadership contacts can be provided upon request.

PSA National is built on one simple principle:

Collaboration, not control.

We are not creating a governing body for campus PSAs. We are building a network that allows students to support one another, learn from one another, and grow together.

  • Every university remains independent
  • Every voice matters
  • Every student has the opportunity to contribute

Our goal is simple: unite Pakistani students across America and create a stronger future together.
